Hello!! My name is Amy Heim and I love teaching math!! This is my 10th year teaching 7th and 8th graders at White Oak Middle School. This year I’ll be adding 6th grade advanced math as well.  In 2013, I graduated with my bachelor’s degree from UT Tyler where I was the president of our UTEACH program and was lucky enough to do my student teaching here in White Oak where I knew I wanted to teach. Originally I came from Magnolia, Texas where I graduated high school in 2001.  I am the proud mother of two children, Landyn who is going into 9th grade. Oh Landyn…he just amazes me everyday with his big heart but WOW is his personality coming out!   Anna Mae on the other hand is going into 8th grade is super sassy and will stick up for anyone she feels like is being wronged.
