Hello!! My name is Amy Heim and I love teaching math!! This is my 11th year teaching 7th and 8th graders at White Oak Middle School. In 2013, I graduated with my bachelor’s degree from UT Tyler where I was the president of our UTEACH program and was lucky enough to do my student teaching here in White Oak where I knew I wanted to teach. Originally I came from Magnolia, Texas where I graduated high school in 2001.  I am the proud mother of two children, Landyn who is going to be a sophomore and Anna Mae on the other hand is going to be a freshman. When I am not at school I’m sure you’ll see me at activities for my children and our students.  Supporting them outside of school has always been a passion of mine.  If there is anything that you would like me to know about your student please feel free to email me.  I’m looking forward to a wonderful year with our students.
